Jeff Bezos Lists His $39 Million Luxury Private Jet for Sale

Have you ever dreamed of experiencing the luxury of a billionaire’s lifestyle? Here’s your opportunity.

Jeff Bezos is reportedly putting one of his four private jets on the market, and it’s priced at $39 million.

While such a price is beyond the reach of most people, for Bezos, it’s just a small fraction of his $220.3 billion net worth.

The Amazon founder’s Gulfstream G650ER has been listed on the aircraft marketplace Controller, as noted by aviation enthusiast Jack Sweeney.

Sweeney shared the listing details on Twitter.

The jet, with the registration number N271DV, was acquired in 2016 for about $65 million.

This year alone, it has flown approximately 224 hours over 73 flights, with an estimated fuel cost of $677,000 and carbon emissions totaling around 1,100 tons, according to JetSpy data.

The listing includes photos showcasing the jet’s exterior, featuring its nearly 100-foot wingspan, and its opulent interior.

The cabin, adorned in tan and white, includes single seats and couches that can accommodate up to 16 passengers, all hand-crafted.

These seats convert into beds, providing maximum comfort for long-distance travel.

The G650ER also offers spectacular views through its sixteen panoramic oval windows, which are touted as the ‘largest in aviation business’ on its website.

Of course, a billionaire’s private jet wouldn’t be complete without meeting rooms, restrooms, and onboard TVs.

Another notable feature is the Gulfstream’s clean air system, which provides ‘100 percent fresh air every two to three minutes’.

The air-ionizing system also ‘neutralizes allergens and viruses’, making it enviable compared to economy class travel.

According to Business Insider, data from the Federal Aviation Administration indicates the jet is registered to Poplar Glen LLC, a holding company. Washington state records from 2004, when the company was established, show that Bezos owns it.

In August, Bezos purchased a Gulfstream G700 for $80 million, which features an updated wing and enhanced Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines compared to the G650ER.

He also retains ownership of another G650ER and a Pilatus PC-24.

Despite such flashy acquisitions, Bezos hasn’t always focused solely on luxury purchases.

In some respects, he may be more modest than one might think: according to Brad Stone’s book The Everything Store, Bezos continued to drive his 1997 Honda Accord for many years after becoming a billionaire.

Still, that doesn’t change the fact that his net worth stands at $220 billion…
