Jelly Roll is set to take on a fresh TV role this summer alongside a lineup of familiar celebrity faces.
While he is primarily known for his music career, the singer is currently on the road across the US with Post Malone on the “Big Ass Stadium Tour,” which continues through the end of July before wrapping up in Florida.
The pair have regularly performed their track ‘Losers’ together on tour, though Jelly Roll recently had to sit one performance out after being admitted to hospital.
In a TikTok shared on June 12, the artist, whose real name is Jason DeFord, showed the moment Post Malone sent him a large bouquet of flowers while he was recovering.
Speaking about what happened, and explaining that he received treatment in Charlotte, Jelly Roll said:
“Shoutout to that whole hospital. They literally got me on my feet for the show.
“I had a puffy face and all. It was just bad, dude, the sinus infection was bad.”

The North American leg of Post Malone’s tour wraps up at the end of July, and Jelly Roll already appears to have another major booking waiting for him.
ABC has announced that Jelly Roll is among the celebrity guest hosts stepping in on Jimmy Kimmel Live! during the host’s summer break, alongside Tiffany Haddish, Colman Domingo, Ike Barinholtz, Anthony Anderson and Rosie O’Donnell. The network said the guest-host run begins with Haddish on the week of July 6, while Jelly Roll’s exact week has not yet been confirmed.
This will not be his first time in the role either, as Jelly Roll previously fronted episodes of Kimmel’s show last summer and has already appeared on the program several times this year.
Kimmel recently told viewers he would be stepping away for the summer, joking that this break was happening by choice following the temporary ABC suspension of his show last September.
“I hope you’re paying attention this summer, because I will be taking the next two months off — this time voluntarily,” he said earlier this week, per NBC News.

He then added a swipe at Donald Trump, saying:
“And as a special treat for our commander in chief, I asked one of his all-time favorites, Rosie O’Donnell, to be here to keep the hits coming.
“You’re welcome, and all I ask in return, Mr. President, is that you don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone.”
O’Donnell has spoken openly about her views on the president many times in the past.
Kimmel first began inviting celebrity guests to cover his show during the summer six years ago, with Chelsea Handler, Martin Short, Kumail Nanjiani and RuPaul among those who have stepped in before.
The hosting news also arrives not long after Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, his wife of nearly a decade. Court filings show he submitted the petition in May, with the filing becoming public in mid-June.
Despite the split, both have said they remain on good terms. Bunnie Xo addressed the breakup on her Dumb Blonde podcast on June 18, saying the divorce was not mutual and explaining that their argument led her to tell him to file the papers, while also saying the pair are still working through their family plans.
