Despite being one of Hollywood’s leading stars, Jennifer Lawrence now finds herself prioritizing life at home with her children, embracing the role of a ‘stay-at-home mom’.
The actress, known for her role in The Hunger Games, made waves over the weekend by attending the Golden Globes in a daring ‘naked dress’. Although her attire was unconventional, her fans were quick to rally in her defense.
Recently, the 35-year-old actress shared insights on balancing her professional life and motherhood during an appearance on the SmartLess podcast.
Lawrence expressed that her identity is strongly rooted in being a parent first and foremost.
“I identify as a stay-at-home mom,” she stated, emphasizing her commitment to family life.

“But I am obviously working,” she added.
“I’m not accustomed to this level of busyness. Typically, I have three hectic months during filming, but even that feels calm because it’s just a routine of work, home, and rest. Then there are two weeks of intense promotion. It’s a whirlwind.”
On the podcast, Lawrence also reflected on her marriage to Cooke Maroney, whom she wed in 2019.
“I married someone who is the opposite of me,” she admitted. “He is incredibly organized. He’s like an anchor. Everything has its place. I make an effort to keep the closet doors shut and take care of my tasks.”
The No Hard Feelings actress continued: “I understand now. [The kids] are on a very strict schedule, and he’s adept at maintaining that. We’ve found ways to keep our marriage vibrant, with a 15-minute grace period.”

When it comes to her acting career, Lawrence has shared her preference for performing intimate scenes with people she doesn’t know well.
In an interview with People about working with Robert Pattinson, she explained: “It was actually easier because Rob and I weren’t acquainted. It can be better that way, you know?
“Imagine it! So yes, working with a stranger is preferable.”
Lawrence recounted filming a particularly unusual scene in her latest project with Pattinson, Die My Love.
“There were actors behaving like tigers,” she described. “And we thought, ‘OK, yeah,’ and then the director was like, ‘Can you do it naked, yeah?’ [mimicking Lynne Ramsay’s Scottish accent]. It was quite the introduction on our first day.”
