Her dedicated fans are well aware of the criticism she has encountered over the years, and JLo herself has taken the opportunity to address it.
During her Up All Night Live in Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 30, Lopez paused her performance to humorously address her detractors.
In a video shared on X, she remarked: “I do laugh at some of the things because they do say funny things too.

“One of the things that [they say is] ‘Why is it when she takes pictures she smiles with her mouth open, why does she always do that?’”
JLo humorously struck a pose mimicking this, which amused the audience and led to laughter.
She went on to say: “[They say] ‘Why does she take pictures like that, why does she always dress that way, why doesn’t she dress her age?’
“I’m like ‘Huh’, ‘Why is she always naked?’, I said, ‘If you had this booty, you’d be naked too’.”
The crowd responded with cheers of approval, with one fan expressing, ‘JLo, you be you, we love you’.
Supporters on social media also defended the singer, praising her impressive physique at 56 years old.
One fan commented: “I don’t understand why the sudden criticism against her style, lmao it’s her body, her choice, and yall just bored and jealous haha.”
Another fan remarked: “Fair play to her! If we all had a body like that, I’d reckon half the town would be ditching their jumpers for a bit of sunshine, wouldn’t we?”
