Jennifer Lopez’s former co-star seems to have taken a surprising jab at the singer during a rather tense interview moment.
In an episode of First We Feast’s ‘Hot Ones’, actor Luis Guzmán joined Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Georgie Farmer, and Joy Sunday, which was posted on YouTube on Tuesday (August 26).
During the segment, Myers brought up some iconic Hollywood figures that Guzmán has collaborated with throughout his career, prompting the 69-year-old to share his admiration for many of them.
“I will now run down a list of your previous collaborators, and you must quickly give me one word that describes them,” Myers instructed.
Guzmán referred to Adam Sandler as ‘amazing’ and called Catherine Zeta-Jones ‘bellísima’.
However, when it came to Lopez, Guzmán simply shrugged and described the ‘On the Floor’ singer as ‘OK’, leaving his fellow Wednesday actors visibly surprised and attempting to maintain composure.
Guzmán refrained from elaborating on why he chose to casually dismiss his Out of Sight co-star, though viewers certainly noticed the remark.
“Luis calling J.Lo ‘ok’ had me crying laughing. This was so good,” a viewer commented on YouTube.
Another added: “I screamed, I wasn’t expecting that but he’s so funny. I love him.”
A third viewer commented: “That J Lo comment had me FLOORED.”
The 1998 film Out of Sight, directed by Steven Soderbergh, featured stars like George Clooney, Don Cheadle, and Viola Davis alongside Lopez and Guzmán.
Representatives for Guzmán and Lopez have been contacted for comment.
This comes after Lopez was lauded by fans for her graceful handling of a wardrobe malfunction on stage in Warsaw, Poland.
During a performance in July, a silver fringe skirt dropped, causing an initial moment of surprise from Lopez as she tried to grab the garment.
She quickly regained her poise and continued the show seamlessly.
“I’m here in my underwear,” she remarked to the audience.
Lopez joked further: “I’m glad that they reinforced that costume. And I’m glad I had underwear on. I don’t usually wear underwear.”
J-Lo’s performances are often memorable, as evidenced by her candid remark about her personal life during the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy in July.
Addressing the crowd, Lopez candidly shared some details about her experiences as a newly single woman.
She admitted: “I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you but I do, and sometimes I like it hard.”
