Jesse Watters has revealed a joyous announcement – the couple is expecting a baby girl in April 2023!
The Fox News anchor and his wife, Emma DiGiovine, are already parents to their son, Jesse Bailey Watters Jr., who entered the world on Apr. 2, 2021.
Currently, DiGiovine is five months into her pregnancy. The couple is excited to welcome their new addition to the family.
“My wife, Emma, is pregnant with a girl. So, we’re having a girl and she’s five months along which I think is halfway through,” Watters said, followed by a celebratory reaction from his fellow co-hosts. “And she looks fantastic, you can’t even tell she’s pregnant.”
The news was met with applause from Watters’ colleagues on “The Five” panel. Co-host Greg Gutfeld joked about the couple’s decision not to allow their child to choose the gender, to which Watters replied that the couple is having difficulty coming up with names.
Co-host Dana Perino suggested that Watters allow Twitter CEO Elon Musk to name the baby, to which Watters countered that Musk is known to give his children “very strange” names.
The host of “The Five”, Greg Gutfeld, concluded an inspiring segment by receiving advice from his co-hosts on taking paternity leave. After the recent birth of his son, Gutfeld took a break from the show and openly expressed his newfound support for paternity leave.
“I used to mock people for taking paternity, I used to think it was a big ruse, but now, ya know, I wish I could take six weeks,” he said during an April 2021 segment.
His co-hosts suggested he take from six to four months of paternity leave, leading Gutfeld to jokingly call for a “class action suit” for Fox News employees who do not yet have children.
