Jessica Simpson Justifies Consuming Snake Sperm and Shares Her Reasons

Some individuals might opt for a whiskey on the rocks or a cold pint of lager, but Jessica Simpson has revealed a preference for something quite unusual—snake sperm.

The ‘Irresistible’ singer disclosed last week that she consumes a Chinese herbal remedy containing snake semen to prepare her vocal cords during tours.

There is no scientific backing for the 44-year-old’s assertion that snake sperm has health benefits, and it would be advisable for anyone to be cautious about such a choice, yet the Texan singer stands by her unconventional choice.

In a brief video shared on Instagram last Friday (March 28), Simpson explained: “They’re like, ‘What are you drinking?’ Because it’s this Chinese herb thing.”

She continued, “And I’m like, ‘I don’t know.’ My vocal coach told me to drink it, and they Googled the ingredients and… snake sperm.”

A friend can be heard exclaiming ‘no!’ and inquiring if it resembles tea. Simpson, a mother of three, responded: “It’s like a honey. So, if you want a good vocal you got to drink snake sperm.”

The reaction online has been a mix of shock and humor. One user commented: “Jessica out here sipping ancient wisdom shots without checking the label—turns out it’s snake juice with extra protein. Cheers to blindly trusting your vocal cords to reptile romance!”

Another remarked: “At this point, Jessica’s vocal warm-up routine sounds like a deleted scene from a sci-fi documentary. Whatever works, I guess.”

Despite the skepticism, Simpson—who recently separated from Eric Johnson after ten years of marriage—remains committed to her unique regimen. She spoke to a TMZ reporter at LAX airport on Sunday (April 6), stating that it ‘just really clears my throat’, adding: “I’m just a great singer when I have snake sperm.”

When asked if she’ll continue consuming the snake ‘seed’, she confidently responded: “Of course! Are you kidding me? Yeah!”

She even joked about producing her own version in the future.

On social media, reactions continue to flow. One user tweeted: “Hey, if she likes swallowing sperm, leave her alone!”

Another wondered: “Wait? She drinks snake sperm to help her vocal cords?”

A third humorously speculated: “I guess if it works for her – it works – frog balls are next for … who knows.”

As for me, I’ll stick to water.
