Jimmy Fallon responds assertively after Jimmy Kimmel is removed from air following Charlie Kirk remarks

Jimmy Fallon has spoken out regarding the unexpected removal of Jimmy Kimmel’s show from the broadcast lineup.

This week, Kimmel faced backlash for comments he made concerning Republicans and Charlie Kirk, who was tragically killed at the age of 31 on September 10.

In response, ABC decided to remove Jimmy Kimmel Live from its programming — a decision that received praise from President Trump.

Trump shared on Truth Social: “Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED.”

“Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!!”

Several celebrities have voiced their opinions on the issue, including Ben Stiller who commented: “This isn’t right.”

Jimmy Fallon, who was also mentioned in Trump’s critical social media message, has now added his thoughts.

The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon expressed: “To be honest with you all, I don’t know what’s going on — no one does.”

“But I do know Jimmy Kimmel, and he is a decent, funny and loving guy. And I hope he comes back.”

During his monologue, Fallon took a humorous route, with an announcer censoring parts of his jokes aimed at Trump.

More updates to come.
