Justin Bieber has ignited discussions after he addressed the topic of ‘lust’ for other women in a recent livestream session.
On Wednesday, October 22, the pop star made his debut on Twitch, promising his millions of fans that he would regularly go live.
“This is our space for the next few months, so excited,” Bieber said, according to Billboard. “I’m gonna be putting on a hell of a show for you guys at Coachella. I can’t wait. So, getting ready, getting the gang together, get inspired. So Beautiful.”
During his first livestream, Bieber offered viewers a glimpse into his impressive studio. The session featured Bieber and his team playing basketball, pool, and skateboarding among other activities.

“You guys are killing it back here,” Bieber commended his team in what appeared to be a warehouse setting. “Just giving them a sneak of what’s really going on back here. This is where the real magic happens. Thank you guys for everything.”
In a later broadcast, the ‘Love Yourself’ singer touched on his Christian beliefs, focusing on the concept of ‘lust’ for other women.
“If you even think of a woman with lust, it’s the same thing as actually doing it,” the 31-year-old stated. “Committing adultery, or whatever. It’s like the same thing. If it even crosses your mind for one second. If you treat a man with anger or something, it’s the same as killing a man.”
Bieber’s comments are reflective of a biblical passage which says: “But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”
The artist has previously spoken candidly about his faith, such as during a spiritual reflection he shared with followers last Christmas.

“How can I really believe Jesus is with me?” Bieber pondered in an Instagram Stories post during the festive season.
Providing his own response, Bieber wrote: “Well for me, Justin, it’s simply His goodness that keeps convincing me. Every time I thought He wouldn’t show up for me, He always has. I’m convinced He’s the perfect, patient presence that guides, directs, and leads me all the days of my life — providing, healing, and restoring all that the enemy tried to destroy and steal.”
He concluded with: “I do believe.”
Despite being new on Twitch, Bieber has already attracted an impressive 160,000 followers, offering them an intimate look into his life.
