Billie Eilish looked visibly overwhelmed after Justin Bieber invited her onstage as his “one less lonely girl” during his Coachella Weekend 2 performance on Saturday (April 18).
The crowd erupted when Bieber launched into his throwback 2009 hit from his debut album My World. Mid-song, he brought Eilish out, and she reportedly dropped to her knees, stunned, as he sang directly to her.
Throughout the rest of the track, Eilish remained on a stool, repeatedly covering her face with her hands while Bieber continued the serenade.
According to reports, Hailey Bieber helped guide Eilish — known to be a longtime Bieber superfan — onto the stage for the moment.
“Oh man,” said Bieber.
“Can you guys give it up for Billie Eilish one time.”

The scene called back to Bieber’s early touring days, when he would bring a fan onstage during “One Less Lonely Girl” as part of the performance.
Eilish previously spoke in 2019 about being a dedicated fan, telling James Corden that she first met Bieber at an earlier Coachella. She also admitted she’d spent that weekend trying to mentally prepare herself for a potential run-in.
“All Coachella weekend, I was like, ‘Don’t surprise me with Justin Bieber,’ she said.
“I can’t take it. I can’t have to do this show and Justin Bieber’s going to be there.”
Online reactions quickly poured in, with many fans saying they couldn’t believe it actually happened — especially those who have followed the “one less lonely girl” tradition for years.
One person wrote: “Billie is so cute! Even after all her fame she was fangirling hard!”
While another said: “The whole world is happy for her.”
And a third added: “No one can top this. She’s the perfect one less lonely girl.”
And a fourth said: “This has been our girls dream FOREVERRRR I’m so happy for her.”
Others said they teared up while watching the clip, and several viewers claimed the surprise made Weekend 2 “better in literally every way” than Weekend 1.

The appearance also marked a major milestone for Bieber: it was his first time headlining Coachella, and also his first full US concert since 2022, following the cancellation of the Justice World Tour.
Last weekend, he mixed newer material from Swag and Swag II with older fan favorites, including Beauty and a Beat and Baby.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Bieber was paid millions for the headlining slot. The Financial Express has also claimed that the paycheck allegedly makes the Canadian singer Coachella’s highest-paid performer to date.
