Justin Bieber Says H&M Merchandise Released Without His Permission — Warns Fans Not to Buy

Justin Bieber took to Instagram Monday afternoon to warn fans about merchandise featuring his name and image at clothing giant H&M.

The pop singer called the items “trash” and said he had not approved the line, which H&M denied. Bieber urged his followers to steer clear of the products.

“I wouldn’t buy it if I were you,” Bieber told his 270 million Instagram followers, adding that the pieces were “trash.”

Justin Bieber took to Twitter on Monday to express his surprise at seeing items for sale bearing his name at H&M, claiming the company had not sought his approval.

While the singer did not specify exactly what he was referring to, the retailer had images of hoodies and other items listed under his name, with some featuring the phrase “I miss you more than life”, a lyric from his 2021 song “Ghost”.

However, an H&M representative dismissed Bieber’s claims and stated that the company had followed the “proper approval procedures” as it does with all other licensed products and partnerships.
