Kai Trump Shares Insight on Donald Trump’s Off-Camera Persona

Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, has opened up about the president’s personality when off-camera.

The 18-year-old recently appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast for a discussion covering various subjects, and naturally, her well-known grandfather was frequently mentioned.

Kai, daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, has established her own presence as an influencer and is currently completing her education at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

In one part of the podcast, Kai shared with Paul her insights on her grandfather’s demeanor away from the public eye, which might come as a revelation to many.

Logan Paul mentioned her ‘grandpa as pretty tall’ and recalled a ‘face-off’ with Trump for an early TikTok video.

Following this, they talked about Trump’s personal chef serving coconut shrimp, prompting Kai to describe her grandfather as ‘just a cool grandpa’.

Despite her grandfather’s significant political influence, Kai prefers to steer clear of politics.

When discussing Trump’s election rival Kamala Harris, Kai admitted: “To be honest with you, I stay out of politics completely.”

“I’d never run… I don’t want anything to do with politics because I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing.”

“I think if both sides had met in the middle everyone would be so much more happier.”

“There’s radical left, radical right, there’s a lot of people who get too extreme.”

She elaborated: “That’s where social media really ties into it because social media makes your feed either be one way or another.”

“There’s not a lot of things on social media where you’re very much in the middle, I think that kind of makes some people crazy and some people buy into it too much, I think that’s the best way to say it.”

“There’s no bad blood, I’m very much in the middle, it is what it is, they ran against each other, obviously I’m going to support my grandpa, my family member.”

Kai also touched on her experience having Secret Service agents for protection.

“To be honest with you, it’s really awkward when you’re sitting and going on a date with a guy and they’re two tables behind you,” she explained.

She added that she tries her ‘best not to let it bother’ her.
