Kandi Burruss is slamming her ex-husband Todd Tucker for going public about their private bedroom activities.
Burruss, 50, fired back after Tucker, 53, admitted in a new film trailer that the couple had threesomes during “most of” their 11-year marriage. The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star issued a pointed statement on Monday, the same day the trailer for Tucker’s “‘Til Divorce Do Us Part” project dropped.
“A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,” Burruss told the outlet. “What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that: private.”
She added a final jab at her former partner: “His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”
The trailer features “RHOA” alum Peter Thomas, 65, who was previously married to Cynthia Bailey, interviewing Tucker about the details of his marriage to Burruss. Thomas asks point-blank whether the couple engaged in threesomes.
“We did. I would say [for] most of our marriage, we did,” Tucker responded in the clip. Thomas pressed him, asking, “For real?” When Tucker confirmed he was telling the truth, Thomas exclaimed, “I’m a saint!”
Burruss and Tucker married in 2014 and share two children together: son Ace, 10, and daughter Blaze, 6, who was born via surrogate in 2019. Burruss is also mother to daughter Riley, 24, from her previous relationship with Russell Spencer, and was previously stepmother to Tucker’s daughter Kaela, 30.
The couple’s split became public in November 2025, when Burruss announced the news through a statement. She explained at the time that “after deep thought and a lot of prayer,” she had “made the decision to move forward with a divorce.”
“This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be and co-parenting with love and respect,” she told the outlet in that earlier statement.
Burruss later opened up about the split having been “brewing for a while,” telling media outlets, “I’ve been going through it, child. I’ve been going through it. Life has been life-ing me.” She also admitted to feeling “emotionally broken” after filing for divorce.
Behind the scenes, the marriage had reportedly been unraveling for months. A source said in December 2025 that Burruss had discovered Tucker had been “talking to other women behind her back.” The insider claimed Burruss “had no idea” about the communications.
Tucker’s legal response to the divorce filing included a request for primary custody of the couple’s two children. He also alleged that he had been pressured into signing their prenuptial agreement “without any notice to or consultation with [his team].”
The former couple managed to reach a settlement agreement by March, avoiding a prolonged court battle.
Burruss’s initial divorce announcement had included a plea for privacy that now stands in sharp contrast to Tucker’s current promotional strategy. “I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family,” she said at the time.
The Xscape singer has built a multi-faceted career spanning music, television, and business ventures, while Tucker has worked as a television producer. Their relationship was documented extensively during their years on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” though the intimate details Tucker is now sharing publicly were not part of that earlier coverage.
Tucker’s “‘Til Divorce Do Us Part” film appears to be taking a more revealing approach to their time together, with the trailer using the threesome revelation as a hook for potential viewers.
Burruss’s statement made clear she views the project as a betrayal of whatever trust remained between them. By framing Tucker’s disclosure as a grab for “five minutes of fame,” she positioned herself as the wronged party attempting to maintain dignity while her ex profits from their shared history.
