Kanye West expresses regret over ex Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy during parental ‘war’ threat in leaked messages

Kanye West, after allegedly sharing private communications between himself and Kim Kardashian, has now hinted at regrets about how quickly he and the reality star expanded their family.

West is a father to four children with Kardashian, whom he proposed to in October 2013 following their relationship which began in 2012.

Their first child, North West, was born in June 2013. The couple tied the knot in May 2014, but after seven years of marriage, they decided to part ways.

During their time together, they had three more children: Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, their youngest, born on May 9, 2019.

Post-divorce, West and Kardashian have been co-parenting. However, West has recently expressed dissatisfaction with the co-parenting arrangement.

West participated in an in-depth interview with DJ Akademiks, appearing in a black pointed hood.

He admitted to ending up in the relationship with Kardashian because he ‘chose’ her, saying, “Absolutely I did, that was my fault.”

West reflected on their rapid transition to parenthood, stating, “I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her, but that wasn’t God’s plan.”

His remarks come in the wake of West posting screenshots on Twitter of alleged private exchanges with Kardashian, with the caption, “This first screen grab shows that I’m not playing.”

These screenshots were shared as he promoted his latest song, ‘LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE’, which reportedly features Diddy, his son Christian ‘King’ Combs, and North, who is 11 years old.

In an effort to distance North from the song, Kardashian is believed to have sought legal measures to halt its release.

One of West’s messages read: “I’m never speaking with you again.”

Kardashian responded: “l asked u at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18 it goes to her. So stop. I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song. To protect her.

“One person has to trademark! We agreed when they were born i would get all of our kids names and trademarks. So no one else would take them.”

West replied: “Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

In an earlier interview from 2016, West remarked on being ‘extremely protective’ of North.
