Kanye West said he would embark on a “30-day cleanse.”
Following Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, West was just restored after being removed for making anti-Semitic slurs.
“I’m not talking to nooobody for a month,” West tweeted on Thursday.
He also posted a picture of a short message that said, “I’m on a 30-day cleanse.” A mental fast. There is no booze. There are no adult flicks. Intercourse is not permitted.
“In God we praise. Amen.”
West continued his speech by saying, “But my Twitter still lit,” implying that his verbal fast may be confined to physical contact.
Adidas said last week that it was ending its connection with West due to a string of antisemitic statements made by the rapper, forcing him to lose his billionaire status overnight.
West blamed “Jewish media” and “Jewish Zionists” for numerous alleged wrongdoings during an appearance on the Drink Champs podcast on October 15, saying that “Jewish people have owned the Black voice” and that “the Jewish community, especially in the music industry… they’ll take us and milk us till we die.”
West also aroused outrage by alleging that George Floyd died of fentanyl overdose and that a police officer’s knee “wasn’t even on his neck like that.”
Floyd’s daughter’s mother is now suing West for $250 million (£224 million) over his allegation.
Meanwhile, Musk has stated that Twitter reinstated the rapper’s account prior to the completion of his acquisition of the social media network.
West is presently in the process of purchasing Parler, an alternative messaging platform that bills itself as neutral and is popular among notable US conservative commentators.
