Keanu Reeves lauded for his respectful approach in photos with female fans

With numerous stories emerging about questionable behavior or shady actions from celebrities, it can be easy to think there are no good guys left.

However, Hollywood star Keanu Reeves stands out as an exception. He is so well-mannered and respectful that he takes extra care not to invade the personal space of his female fans when they request photos.

In many pictures, the actor can be seen bending down or smiling for the camera while keeping his hands clearly away from fans or maintaining a respectful distance between them.

One fan noticed this pattern and quickly shared their thoughts on social media, saying: “Lol Keanu ain’t taking no chances.”

They posted a montage of clips showing The Matrix actor posing with female fans, always maintaining a respectful distance.

Another fan commented: “It’s not about not taking chances. It’s about being considerate and respectful, qualities that Keanu carries in spades.”

A third fan shared: “He’s respectful. This should be how it’s done unless ya know the woman doesn’t mind being touched. Keanu should inspire us all.”

You might think that with constant fan attention and numerous requests for selfies or autographs, it would go to your head.

Yet, Keanu remains grounded and seems more puzzled by the attention his fame brings than anything else.

When asked by People magazine about his reaction to being named the internet’s newest boyfriend while at a premiere for Toy Story 4, Keanu responded: “I’ve been what? I didn’t know that… That’s wacky.”

He added, “The positivity is great. It’s really special how [Always Be My Maybe and John Wick 3] have been embraced.”

Keanu also recently discussed how starring in The Matrix changed his life, becoming emotional as he described the movie’s impact.

The first film in the trilogy was released in 1999 and became a global phenomenon, making him a worldwide superstar.

Keanu is acutely aware of the franchise’s significant influence. Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 59-year-old fought back tears as he reflected on its impact.

When the host mentioned the 25th anniversary of the first movie, Reeves had to pause before speaking about its importance to him.

He said, “The Matrix changed my life, and then over these years, it’s changed so many other people’s lives in really positive and great ways.

“As an artist, you hope for that when you get to do a film or tell a story.

“So, when you say these years, the amount of people that I have met who have said to me and been touched by The Matrix in such a positive way… It’s the best.”

It’s evident that Keanu is one of the genuinely good individuals in Hollywood, remaining humble and unaffected by his fame.
