The news of Keith Urban’s split from Nicole Kidman continues to be a topic of discussion.
Recently, it was revealed that Kidman and Urban have decided to part ways after nearly two decades together.
Nicole Kidman, known for her role in Babygirl, initiated divorce proceedings from her country music star husband last month. She has requested to be the primary residential parent for their two teenage daughters.
Although the couple has not made a public statement regarding their impending divorce, Kidman appeared to hint at the situation.
In an interview with Vogue, she remarked: “How many times do you have to be taught that you think you know where your life is going and then it isn’t going in that direction?”
News about their split surfaced following the publication of the interview.
Urban had to face the issue during the final night of his tour at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Friday, October 17.
A fan held up a sign asking Urban to tell their family that they were expecting a baby.
Urban approached the fan to learn their name.
“You’re not going to like my name,” the woman said in a video captured by USA Today journalist, Bryan West.
Surprised, Urban asked: “I’m not going to like your name?” The fan then revealed her name was ‘Nicole’.
In response, Urban humorously hid his face and fell to the floor amid laughter from the audience.
This interaction occurred a night after Urban had to cancel his October 16 concert in Greenville, South Carolina, where he was set to perform at the Secours Wellness Arena.
A notice on the venue’s website stated: “Keith Urban has been advised by his longtime laryngologist Dr. Gaelyn Garrett, from the Vanderbilt Voice Center, to cancel his performance in Greenville, SC tonight at Bon Secours Wellness Arena due to laryngitis which began earlier this week.
“He has been placed on complete vocal rest and Dr. Garrett is optimistic that he will be back onstage for his Nashville show.”
The announcement continued: “If you purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically; there is nothing further ticketholders need to do. If you purchased from a third-party reseller, please reach out to your point of purchase.”
Urban expressed his regret to fans, stating: “Hey Greenville, I’m so SO sorry to have to cancel the show. I know all the logistics it takes to get to a concert these days and I’ve never taken any of that, or any of YOU for granted. I’m looking forward to getting back there when we can!!!!!”
