Kelly Osbourne’s Partner Discloses His Face Is ‘Melted from the Nose Down’ Following Terrifying Accident

Sid Wilson recently provided an update on his health after experiencing a freak accident.

Wilson, a member of the band Slipknot, has been dating Kelly Osbourne since 2022. The couple shares a young son together.

In the past few days, their relationship faced a challenge when Wilson suffered severe burns in a bonfire accident. As a result, Osbourne, 39, has been taking care of the 47-year-old DJ.

Wilson has been sharing his recovery journey on social media and has recently provided more details about the moments leading up to the accident.

During a phone call with Fox News Digital, he recalled, “A few nights ago, I lit it and let it burn down.”

“So, the next day, I went to check it to see, you know, how much was left, if anything. And there was a certain amount of debris around the side still left, so I, like a dummy, [did] what I’m not supposed to do, but I added some gas to it.”

Wilson continued, “I started looking around for a long branch to kind of be at a distance to light it, and then I couldn’t find one immediately. So, my lack of patience got the better of me, and I was like, screw it. I’ll be all right, you know?

“And I squatted down and reached out and lit it, and it just, it was really humid out so there was still a lot of vapors lingering around in there, and it just… woof. Exploded.”

The incident has left Wilson with significant burns, especially on his arms and face.

“My whole right arm is bandaged up, half of my left arm,” he explained. “My face is basically melted from nose down. But the swelling’s gone down, and they said the face is kind of amazing that it’s regenerative, it happens real fast, seems to heal quickly.”

He admitted that he’s had ‘better days’ but expressed gratitude for surviving the accident.

Additionally, Wilson praised Osbourne, calling her ‘completely invaluable’.

The 47-year-old stated, “Being here and taking care of all that for me, I’m not really sure what I’d be doing if she wasn’t here doing that.”

Reflecting on the ordeal, Wilson advised, “Don’t f**k around with fire.”

In a recent Instagram update on August 29, Wilson mentioned that he’s ‘halfway there’, indicating that he is well on the path to a full recovery.
