Autumn Urker has revealed that her brother Ken’s final words to her were “I love you” before his sudden death at 34.
The Louisiana man, who was engaged to Gypsy Rose Blanchard and father to their infant daughter, was found unresponsive at a home in Lafourche Parish on Thursday, October 1 — which also marked his birthday, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office. Authorities confirmed he was pronounced dead at the scene, and his death is now under investigation.
Autumn Urker went live on TikTok following the news, sobbing as she shared that her brother had told her “I love you” before he passed, though she did not specify when that final conversation took place.

Blanchard, 33, broke her silence on Urker’s death with raw grief on social media. “I’ve screamed until my throat burns,” she wrote, according to multiple reports on her statement.
The couple’s path to parenthood had drawn intense public scrutiny. In November 2024, just one month before their daughter Aurora Raina was born, Blanchard shut down paternity speculation with a since-deleted post naming Urker as the biological father rather than her estranged husband Ryan Anderson.
“There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest,” Blanchard wrote at the time. “Ken is the father.”
She continued: “Ken is going to be an incredible dad and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world.”

The pair’s romantic history stretched back years before they became parents. They first connected while Blanchard was serving prison time for her role in the 2015 killing of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, but ended their relationship in 2018. Six years later, in early 2024, they rekindled their romance.
Speaking with the outlet in April 2024 about their reunion, Blanchard said: “After reconnecting earlier this month, we realized that our love for each other is simply undeniable, and life is too short to not take a chance.”
“We have a history that made for the perfect foundation for a new beginning,” she added. “We are together and in a wonderful place in our relationship. We know it is going to be a long road ahead but are excited for the future.”
Blanchard served eight and a half years of a ten-year sentence for second-degree murder after convincing her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn to kill Dee Dee, who had subjected her to years of fabricated illnesses and medical abuse. She was paroled in December 2023 and quickly reentered public life, documenting her relationships and newfound freedom on social media before reconnecting with Urker and building the family they had long discussed.
Autumn Urker’s emotional TikTok broadcast offered the most personal glimpse yet into the family’s devastation as they await answers from the ongoing investigation.
