Kim Kardashian has opened up about utilizing ChatGPT for ‘legal advice’ in a recent chat with Vanity Fair, discussing her journey in the field of law.
During the interview, Kim was connected to a lie detector while her All’s Fair co-star Teyana Taylor posed some questions to her.
The conversation quickly shifted to artificial intelligence, with Kim being asked if she turns to the chatbot for dating or general life advice.
When questioned about her use of ChatGPT for ‘life advice’, the reality star responded with a ‘no’, but confessed that she does seek its help for ‘legal advice’ and for tackling law exam questions.
She elaborated: “So, when I am needing to know the answer to a question, I’ll take a picture and snap it and put it in there.”

Taylor then inquired if she was ‘cheating’ on her exams to find the right answers, prompting Kim to clarify her stance.
“They’re always wrong. It has made me fail tests,” she stated.
The SKIMS founder acknowledged that this happens ‘all the time’, adding, ‘then I’ll get mad and I’ll yell at it and be like, “You made me fail, why did you do this?” and it will talk back to me’.
Jokingly, the star described ChatGPT as a ‘frenemy’ and a ‘toxic’ friend because of these experiences.
She mentioned: “But then I will talk to it and say, ‘Hey, you’re gonna make me fail. How does that make you feel?’ And then it’ll say back to me, ‘This is just teaching you to trust your own instincts. So, you knew the answer all along.’ Clocked me.”
Kim, who has been studying law for some time, previously shared her progress with her exams.

In 2023, she told the Today show that she was doing well.
“I’m still studying. I’m actually in constitutional law 1 and 2 right now. It’s my toughest; not the biggest fan of it, I’ve been sharing my struggle,” she explained.
“But with that said, I took a midterm yesterday. I got 100 per cent, and then I got a 95 per cent on my other midterm.
“So I feel that gives me that boost of confidence again just to push through.”
And for those curious, the lie detector test confirmed Kim’s honesty about her use of ChatGPT.
