Kim Kardashian has been called out for her latest post online after getting heat from PETA.
Kim Kardashian has a history of clashing with the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and she’s once again facing criticism—this time with more online users joining in.
The reality star, who has owned Pomeranians over the years, recently shared photos of four Pomeranian puppies. She indicated there was one pup for each of her children: North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six.
Kardashian posted pictures and videos of the puppies, which were reportedly Christmas gifts for her kids. The posts quickly drew negative reactions across social media.
“girl u do not need 4 dogs,” said one social media commenter.

Another said: “They are not accessories. Please treat them with kindness and respect.”
Someone else asked: “What happened to the last dogs?”
The renewed backlash follows comments made by PETA in late December, after Kardashian revealed the new puppies had joined the household.
Ingrid Newkirk, the organization’s founder, criticized Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian, who also reportedly received a new dog over the holidays.
“Puppies are not plushies, and it’s a damn shame that Kim missed the chance to be a spokesperson for shelter pups and instead is being rightly slammed on social media for that,” they told the Daily Mail.
“Ignoring the homeless animals crisis is inexcusably callous, and so we ask Kim and Khloe, who did the same thing, to call PETA or a local shelter the next time they want to bring an animal into their home—and try to make some amends now by sending their kids to volunteer at a local shelter or paying for a local shelter adopt-a-thon or at least one spay day to help stop the growing homeless puppy crisis.”

It’s not the first time PETA has raised concerns about Kardashian’s Pomeranians, either.
Back in January 2023, the group reacted after she posted footage showing her dogs inside a cage in what appeared to be a garage.
The body told Page Six: “Knowing that Kim Kardashian is anti-fur and mostly vegan, we are hoping hard that she does not relegate her dogs to life in a garage.
“What PETA does know is that dogs are highly social pack animals who need more than just soft beds and decorative stockings.
“They deserve to feel safe, loved, and to live inside the house as part of the family.”
