Kourtney Kardashian has been labeled as ‘gullible’ by some after she described her methods for shielding her baby from ‘electromagnetic fields’.
In 2023, Kourtney, aged 46, welcomed her son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, with her husband Travis Barker.
During an episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, Kourtney discussed her approach to safeguarding Rocky from radiation while he sleeps with her sister, Khloé Kardashian.
She shared insights into her parenting style, saying: “I hold him for his naps, the whole time. Three hours sometimes. Once he took a nap for five hours, I’ll sit in our little chair and I still have my little breastfeeding pillow, so he will kind of lay on there with my arms under.
“I have a radiation blanket I put over to protect from EMFs from phone use, and I have that little sticker on my phone too.”
On her lifestyle website, Poosh, Kourtney elaborates that she employs a sticker and a blanket from Bon Charge, which ‘uses negative ions to help create a more energetically-balanced environment’.
“Put one on your smartphones, laptops, tablets, and routers. With its strong adhesive, this little sticker works on a variety of electronic devices,” the Poosh site notes.
The blanket is described as ‘designed to block part of the 5G spectrum, this blanket also blocks other EMFs, like the ones emitted by WiFi and smart devices’.
The video quickly drew reactions from viewers, some of whom labeled Kourtney as ‘gullible’.
One commenter said: “Finding out that Kourtney uses a ‘radiation blanket’ to cover her son while he sleeps to protect him from wifi is amazing i’m so happy… getting so much money and you’re scared of wifi is incredible to me.”
Another commented: “Of course she would be that gullible.”
However, others appreciated the concept, with one adding: “I want a radiation blanket. Just like the one Kourtney had on.”
Kourtney also mentioned how she has reduced her work commitments since the arrival of Rocky, stating: “Becoming a mom again really ignited, like intensely ignited my motherly role, my motherly instinct, sometimes I feel like my feminine energy. I feel like it intensely ignited that feeling inside me of just I am a mom.
“I had a strong desire to not work and stay home and be with the kids, which is… I would say probably like once a week I’ll work.
“It’s not like the whole day, it’s a couple hours of my day. The rest of the time I’m truly at home and I’m being a mom.”
