Kris Jenner openly discusses motivation for facelift after daughter’s revelations on cosmetic procedures

The Kardashian family are well-known for their connection to cosmetic procedures, and Kris Jenner has now shared her reasons for choosing to have a facelift.

At 69, Kris Jenner has been confidently showcasing the results of her $100,000 facelift after deciding to undergo surgery.

Back in May, fans were taken aback by her transformed appearance, with many commenting on her resemblance to daughter Kim Kardashian following the procedure.

For the procedure, she sought the expertise of Dr Steven M Levine, often referred to as ‘the facelift maestro,’ known for being a go-to for celebrities aiming to rejuvenate their appearance.

As the family’s manager, Kris has always been transparent about her cosmetic enhancements, a trait shared by daughters Khloé and Kylie, who have also detailed their own procedures recently.

Kris recently spoke to Vogue Arabia about her decision to undergo a facelift.

She explained: “For me, this is ageing gracefully. It’s my version.”

Kris elaborated: “I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh.”

“I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy,” she continued.

“Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything,” she emphasized.

Everyone has their own choice, after all!

The Kardashian family is famously close, with Kris revealing that Kylie was by her side during the facelift, while Kim stayed connected via FaceTime throughout.

Kris also believes that being candid about plastic surgery ‘can be very inspirational to people who aren’t feeling so great about themselves.’

Contrary to what some might think, Kris holds firm to her views.

She stated: “You know, we don’t have any regrets. I don’t live with regrets… I don’t know what 70 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great and I’m happy to be there.”

Kris is no stranger to documenting her surgeries, as she recalled: “Even when I had my hip replacement, we filmed it. I have the conviction that sharing these things can be helpful.”

Approaching 70, Kris has no plans of slowing down.

“My mom worked until she was 82, and I’m planning on following suit!” she declared. “Maybe 85?”

According to an insider, Kris has also shed several dress sizes, necessitating a complete wardrobe overhaul.

The source noted that she’s managed to significantly reverse the aging process: “Kris is no longer a size ten so she has no need for those clothes. She is a size six these days and thrilled about it. It’s the same size that she was in the 1980s,” they explained.

“Her closet is completely different now — the items are so much smaller — and it makes her very happy to get back to the body that she had in her younger years,” they added.
