Kylie Jenner shut down speculation about expanding her family during a surprise cameo on her sister’s new reality series.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 29, appeared via FaceTime on an episode of Khloé Kardashian’s Hulu show “The Girls” that aired recently, where she told longtime Kardashian pal Yris Palmer she has no plans for more children. Jenner shares daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4, with ex Travis Scott.
“Trust me, the thought of carrying another baby right now feels insane,” Jenner shared on the call.
When Palmer brought up surrogacy as an alternative, Jenner replied, “I don’t think so.”
“I don’t want to say no, no, but I’m like 99.9 percent sure I couldn’t do that,” the makeup mogul explained.
Jenner also noted that she has “big healthy babies,” so “there’s no reason for me to really have a surrogate.”
The comments mark a notable shift from Jenner’s stance just months earlier. In March, she told Vanity Fair she wants “more kids” eventually, though she added before she grows her family, she wants “to focus on just me, my businesses, my work, traveling with my kids [and] enjoying my kids.”
Jenner became a mom in 2018 at age 20, welcoming Stormi with then-boyfriend Scott. Aire was born four years later. The reality star’s breakup with the rapper, 35, made headlines in 2023, and she moved on with Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet, 30, that same year.
Chalamet has previously hinted at his own openness to fatherhood. Four months before Jenner’s Vanity Fair interview, the “Dune” star told Vogue that kids “could be on the radar.” He reflected on watching a video in which someone was “bragging about not having kids and how much time it afforded them to do other stuff” — a mindset he considered “bleak.”
In that same interview, Chalamet refused to discuss his relationship with Jenner not out of “any fear,” but because he didn’t “have anything to say.”
However, Chalamet did give Jenner sweet shoutouts during his acceptance speeches at the Golden Globe Awards and Critics Choice Awards earlier this year.
“Lastly, I would like to say thank you to my partner of three years,” the “Marty Supreme” actor said on stage at the latter event, as Jenner watched from the audience.
“Thank you for our foundation,” Chalamet continued. “I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
In the viral moment that sparked renewed interest in the couple’s future, Jenner’s cameo on “The Girls” offered a rare unfiltered glimpse into her family planning thoughts. The exchange with Palmer unfolded naturally during a conversation about Palmer’s own surrogacy considerations, with Jenner volunteering her own definitive stance unprompted.
The reality star’s current priorities appear centered on her existing children and her business empire rather than adding to her brood, regardless of her relationship status with Chalamet.
