Kylie Jenner’s brother defends her and Timothée Chalamet with brutal comment

Brody Jenner has defended his younger sister Kylie after online chatter about her romance intensified, urging people to ‘leave the happy couple alone’.

The 42-year-old addressed the latest claims questioning Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s highly visible relationship, which was again in the spotlight on Sunday as Jenner backed the actor while his film Marty Supreme came away empty-handed at the Oscars.

According to allegations reported by the Daily Mail, Chalamet, 30, was said to have had a non-exclusive connection with former adult entertainer Sarah Tena that began in 2020 after the pair reportedly bonded via social media.

Tena said she was puzzled when she later saw the Dune star linked to Jenner as their relationship took shape in 2023, telling the outlet: “I see these things about him dating Kylie Jenner and I was very confused about that.”

Expanding on her doubts, Tena continued: “At first, I thought it was fake news and then I was like maybe it’s a PR thing. But now it looks like maybe they are together. I don’t know… It doesn’t add up.”

She alleged the pair’s involvement began six years ago, claiming that during her first visit to his home she noticed scripts related to the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, around his place.

Tena said: “I went over there and he had all these scripts up for the Bob Dylan role and I was like, ‘What is this?’ and he’s like, ‘It’s for Bob Dylan. I’m going to play him,’ and I was like, ‘That’s so cool.”

She suggested the relationship continued in the years that followed, despite his frequent travel for filming work, and described becoming strongly attached to the actor.

She went on to say: “I was in love with Timothée, yeah. I didn’t say those exact words to him.

“I had said, ‘I have feelings for you,’ and pretty much expressed I want to continue.

“I let him know that I wanted it to be more consistent … I wanted it to be where we made more time for one another. New York kind of sealed that for me.”

The 32-year-old said she tried to acknowledge Chalamet’s birthday in January 2023, but felt deflated when she claimed his only reaction was a like.

Not long after, she said, he was photographed with Jenner, and by April the pair were being widely described as officially together.

As Tena’s comments circulated—particularly her suggestion the relationship could be ‘PR’—speculation spread rapidly online. In response, Brody Jenner weighed in under a Page Six post about the claims.

“Oh god 🙄 just leave the happy couple alone,” he wrote. “People have lives before they meet their person.

“This girl is clearly doing this for attention, and everyone can see right through it.”

Tena’s interview also arrived during a run of unflattering headlines for Chalamet, sparked by remarks he made about opera and ballet.

Discussing declining audiences for both art forms, he said: “I don’t want to be working in ballet, or opera, or things where it’s like, ‘Hey, keep this thing alive, even though like no one cares about this anymore.'”

He added: “All respect to all the ballet and opera people out there.”
