“I’ve observed quite a few Star Trek fans struggling with the LEGO Enterprise build, so I offer this advice with good intentions,” one fan disclosed on Reddit.
“Fill a small spray bottle with a solution of four parts water to one part dish soap,” they explained. “A light spray on the piece before applying the stickers allows you some flexibility for adjustments.
“Using the edge of the supplied brick separator tool to place the sticker before attaching it to the piece also aids in accurate placement. Once positioned correctly, gently wipe with a microfiber cloth to remove any excess solution.”

Another enthusiast responded, “This changes everything!”
“I wasn’t aware of the dish soap trick,” said a third. “I’ll have to try that on my next build, whenever that might be, thanks.”
Someone else added, “As a long-time LEGO fan and someone who built a custom Enterprise D out of LEGO years before this set was even rumored, this set was quite challenging.”

“I occasionally missed pieces, struggled with the deflector dish assembly, and frequently misplaced saucer sections. It’s definitely a tough build for newcomers.”

The Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise has garnered hundreds of five-star reviews thus far, indicating strong approval.
“I’ve been eagerly anticipating this set since early rumors in 2024, and not even the shipping delay diminished my excitement,” one enthusiastic review states.
“I own many other sets, but this is by far my favorite. I’m not sure if it’s because I love Star Trek, but it was an incredibly enjoyable nine and a half hours (over two days) to complete the build.”
Another reviewer noted, “Many reviews overlook the amazing level of detail that mirrors the actual cutaway designs of the ENTD ship.”

“There are small Easter Eggs throughout the build that sometimes made me wonder if they consulted Michael Okuda himself. As a Star Trek: The Next Generation fan, building this was a blast.”
Another user commented, “The eight mini figures make this set a great value for Trekkies, and the bonus is the Enterprise-D itself. What an iconic build, crafted by Trekkies, for Trekkies.”
