Someone Made A LEGO Hair Bike Helmet To Encourage Kids To Wear Safety Gear When Cycling

A recent survey showed that 44% of kids don’t wear a helmet when riding a bike, so two designers set out to make bike helmets a little bit cooler. Here’s what they came up with.

Yep, ad agency employees Simon Higby and Clara Prior came up with a helmet based on LEGO hair, and it might just be the coolest thing ever.

Who doesn’t want to have a removable hairdo just like a LEGO figure?! Motorists will never miss a cyclist wearing one of these.

Higby and Prior created the helmet hoping that kids would want to wear it, rather than being forced, as part of Higby’s MBA thesis.

With the help of Danish design company MOEF they created the prototype and, although it isn’t on sale (yet!), fingers crossed this will become a real thing.
