Liam Neeson reveals he is ‘deeply infatuated’ with Pamela Anderson after working on new film together

Liam Neeson has expressed his admiration for Pamela Anderson, his co-star in their upcoming film, admitting he has a deep affection for her.

The seasoned actors are featured in The Naked Gun, a forthcoming reboot of the beloved Leslie Nielsen comedy series.

Neeson takes on the role of Drebin Jr., presumably the son of Nielsen’s character, Frank Drebin, from the original movie.

This crime comedy marks the fifth installment in The Naked Gun franchise, with a cast that includes Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Liza Koshy, Cody Rhodes, CCH Pounder, and Busta Rhymes.

Filming for the reboot began earlier this year, and it seems that Neeson and Anderson have developed a strong admiration for one another.

In a recent issue of People Magazine, Neeson shared: “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with.”

“I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”

Anderson, in turn, expressed her admiration for Neeson, calling him the ‘perfect gentleman’.

“He brings out the best in you… with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him,” she told People.

Despite stepping into a comedic role, Neeson appears to have some reservations about his comedic skills.

Given his legendary status, there’s little doubt he’ll excel, though imposter syndrome can affect even seasoned Hollywood actors like him.

“Whether I can carry it or not, I honestly don’t know,” Neeson confessed.

However, Anderson has a different view, describing her experiences filming with Neeson.

“It was hard to keep a straight face in scenes together,” she said, also referring to him as ‘humble’.

While Neeson is thrilled to be part of The Naked Gun, he remains less than enthusiastic about the Star Wars saga.

In a conversation with Conan O’Brien on his Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast, Neeson shared his thoughts on the franchise’s numerous spin-offs, saying: “There’s so many movies and spin-offs now I think it’s diluting the whole thing, that’s my personal thing.”

“Occasionally there’s kids after a Star Wars autograph and I don’t want to give autographs at the airport,” he added.
