Liam Payne’s Last Gesture of Generosity: Donated a Remarkable Sum to GoFundMe Campaigns Weeks Before His Tragic Passing

Details of Liam Payne’s substantial charitable efforts before his untimely death have come to light.

The 31-year-old singer, known for his time with One Direction, tragically died after reportedly falling from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room at the CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Authorities were alerted on October 16 at around 5:00pm due to reports of an ‘aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol’.

Upon arrival, the hotel manager informed them that a man had fallen from a balcony, later identified as Payne, who gained fame from The X-Factor, a British singing talent show.

It has since been disclosed that Payne dedicated his final weeks to contributing to multiple GoFundMe campaigns.

Fans were astonished to learn of the singer’s charitable donations after his passing.

Liam Payne, father to seven-year-old Bear with singer Cheryl Cole, shared his rise to fame with bandmates Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik.

During a visit to attend Horan’s concert, Payne fell to his death from a balcony, suffering from ‘internal and external’ bleeding, which emergency services were unable to treat.

Eyewitnesses at the hotel recounted his erratic behavior, including smashing his laptop and convulsing on the lobby floor.

Tragically, moments later, he was discovered deceased in the courtyard.

The police reported that his hotel room was found ‘in complete disarray’ with ‘various items broken,’ and a whiskey bottle, lighter, and mobile phone were recovered near his body.

Despite the intense scrutiny surrounding the events leading to his death, Payne’s last few weeks reflected a period of remarkable generosity, as he provided support to those in need.

It is reported that Payne donated thousands of pounds to individuals requiring financial help, including $3000 to 28-year-old Jack, who is being treated for Stage 4 B Cell Lymphoma, as claimed by the Mirror.

In September, he contributed $5000 to a GoFundMe campaign for a family with a four-year-old battling cancer, assisting them with their bills.

Additionally, he donated $1000 to a GoFundMe for Taylor Jones, a teenage girl injured in a school shooting on September 4th, and gave $2,900 to a four-year-old recovering from a stroke.

Before his passing, Payne expressed: “As a father, it hits me differently. I would want everyone in the world helping. I have been spending the last few nights trying to finish off the donations so they can get the operations they need – they would be free in my country.”

“I can’t look at a sick child and not see Bear. I can’t and I won’t. I’m not asking for people to say well done or I’m amazing – I don’t give a f*** about what people think of me.”

He continued: “What I care about is that that child gets to live the life it’s supposed to.”

Emma Revie, CEO of The Trussel Trust, acknowledged Payne’s support, which facilitated approximately 360,000 meals during the Covid pandemic, and expressed gratitude for his generosity.
