Liev Schreiber was hospitalized after feeling unwell on Sunday.
The 58-year-old actor from Ray Donovan was taken to the hospital for a series of tests due to a severe headache that his doctor believed required further examination.
According to TMZ, he was kept overnight at the hospital as a precautionary measure.
Details about the cause of his headache or the specific tests conducted have not been disclosed.
“Out of an abundance of caution, Liev went into the hospital for testing and as of this afternoon, he has been cleared to return to work,” his representative stated after his brief hospital visit.
This isn’t the first time Liev has dealt with headaches. Previously, he shared his experience with a debilitating migraine in April 2024. This migraine was so intense that it resulted in temporary amnesia.

Schreiber recounted the frightening ordeal on an episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, explaining that the incident occurred while he was performing on Broadway.
“I was in my dressing room and I had a terrible headache,” Schreiber said. “I thought it was maybe a fast food headache, but it felt a little stronger than that. I’m walking down the stairs and I’m thinking, ‘This is not normal. I don’t feel okay’”
Concern escalated when he realized he couldn’t recall the name of his co-star, Amy Ryan.
“I think, ‘Okay, I’ve had a stroke. This is it,’ ” he remarked. However, after an MRI and a neurologist’s consultation, he was informed there was no brain bleed and his brain appeared ‘perfectly fine.’

He was diagnosed with transient global amnesia, a temporary condition involving sudden memory loss and confusion.
Although uncommon, this condition typically lasts around 24 hours and can be triggered by migraines, physical exertion, sexual activity, emotional stress, and sudden temperature changes.
