Lizzo fans amazed as singer reveals fresh look

Lizzo took the internet by storm after unveiling her latest look on Instagram.

Recently, the artist has appeared noticeably slimmer, prompting speculation about whether she might be using Ozempic.

In September, Lizzo, a Grammy Award-winning performer, addressed these rumors, staunchly denying that her weight loss was due to medication.

She shared a video on TikTok, expressing frustration over the allegations. The video’s text read: “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”

Even the animated show South Park poked fun at her in a weight-loss-themed episode, naming their fictional product after Lizzo. She took it in stride, even dressing as a ‘Lizzo’ prescription box for Halloween.

Recently, the ‘About Damn Time’ singer posted a series of photos showing off milkmaid braids and an off-the-shoulder outfit.

“Last night I wore milkmaid braids,” she captioned the photos.

In the images, Lizzo’s facial appearance prompted comments from followers noting the change.

One commenter exclaimed: “First thing to slim is that face, hi haterssssss!!!”

“She was beautiful before and is beautiful now,” affirmed another.

A fan added: “You still looking beautiful Sis, the only difference now is that you’re glowing.”

Some fans encouraged Lizzo to keep being herself amidst the criticism.

One person stated: “Do you Lizzo! People miserable, she lose weight yall talk about her, she support plus size women. Yall talk about her, sounds like the problem is with yall.”

Another added: “Lizzo looks good!!!!! Flat out!! I don’t care what she did or didn’t do. Looks like a healthy weight loss to me.”

Lizzo has also been promoting her body through her brand Yitty, sharing several images of herself in the shapewear line.

Founded in 2022 in collaboration with Fabletics, Yitty aims to create inclusive shapewear.

A press release at its launch stated, “Yitty wants to foster radical self-love for all gender identities — including the trans, non-binary, gender-fluid, and gender non-conforming communities often underserved,” according to CNN.

“Yitty’s mission is to serve all bodies, ensuring these core styles are always on offer.”

The clothing line ranges from sizes XS to 6X.

In a step towards inclusivity, Yitty unveiled a line of gender-affirming products last year.

Lizzo shared on Instagram: “I’ve seen many videos of individuals creating their own garments for wrapping or tucking, so their bodies reflect their true selves.”

“I’ve listened to people talk about the desire to present their bodies fluidly, depending on their mood or clothing style, and I wanted to help.”
