Logan Paul addresses allegations after video leads viewers to think he tried to ‘kill his dog’

Logan Paul has adamantly refuted allegations that he tried to harm his own dog.

The YouTuber, who has transitioned into boxing and WWE, adopted his dog Broley in 2019. Broley has since featured in several of Logan’s videos.

Although dog content is generally well-received, a particular video from 2020 featuring Broley sparked significant controversy at the time and continues to do so.

In the contentious video, Broley is seen on a boat with Logan and others when the dog jumps off and appears to be swept under the boat.

After the incident, Logan can be heard urgently shouting, “Stop the boat!” as he rushes to the back of the vessel to locate Broley.

Logan subsequently jumped into the water to rescue his dog and bring him back to the boat. Fortunately, Broley seemed unhurt.

When the video was initially published, many accused Logan of pushing his dog off the boat, which he strongly denied.

He wrote: “Clarifying in the comments: we would NEVER, EVER, EVER, push Broley off the boat. He jumped and a hand was behind him, petting him, and when he jumped, we attempted to grab him but FOR A FACT we did not push him.

“Watch his body language and you can very evidently see a self-induced, independent jump from the little mut. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.”

Logan further stressed that after reviewing the footage in slow motion, it was evident that Broley was not pushed, and he bluntly told his critics to ‘go f**k yourselves.’

With the video resurfacing online, Logan has had to address the issue once again.

Sharing a clip of the video, one Twitter user wrote: “Logan Paul attempts to kill his dog by pushing it into a boat propeller for ‘content’ and tries to pretend it just jumped off.”

While some still believe Logan pushed the dog, many have come to his defense.

One person commented about Broley: “Bro it did try to jump off. Look at its feet. If pushed the feet would have been in a different way.”

“This is such bait, dog clearly jumped on its own and they traded to grab him this is pathetic icl,” another insisted.

Logan has also addressed the resurfaced video by sharing a screenshot of his original statement from when the initial backlash occurred.

“4 years later & still go f**k yourselves,” the 29-year-old wrote next to the screenshot.

In another post, he emphasized that he ‘would never’ harm his dog.
