Connor Tomlinson appears to have softened his once-firm stance on blondes after introducing fans to his new girlfriend, Sarah Siebert.
The Love on the Spectrum personality revealed he is no longer single in a video posted Monday, July 6, 2026, surprising followers with the relationship update. The announcement came just months after Connor said he would not return for the show’s upcoming fifth season and after his on-screen romance with Georgie Harris ended in season 4.
“Hard launch,” he wrote, as he relaxed by the pool with a beer before Sarah stepped into frame and kissed him on the cheek.
He later clarified where things stand between them.
“Sarah and I are just boyfriend & girlfriend and for now that’s good enough for us,” Connor added in the comments, but it wasn’t the relationship that had everyone worked up.
Instead, viewers quickly focused on one very noticeable detail about Sarah.
She’s blonde, which stood out because Connor had previously made it very clear that blond hair was not something he wanted in a partner.
That led to plenty of playful reactions online.
“A blonde?!?,” said a surprised commenter, as another joked to the Netflix star: “Congratulations!!! SEE – Blondes are NOT that bad ehhh?”
Someone else said: “Connor she’s blonde you go man!!”
Anyone familiar with the show will likely remember the moment that made his hair-color preference such a talking point. During a conversation with his mother, Lise, Connor made it clear he strongly preferred brunettes.
“I didn’t think you were so hung up on hair color,” Connor’s mom, Lise, said after failing to set him up with her friend’s blonde daughter.
“And you didn’t think to tell me?!” Connor said to her when he had discovered her hair color as mom was describing her to him. “I am very upset with you.”
The exchange went viral and became one of the more memorable moments from the series.
Later, in season 3, producers arranged a blind date for Connor with Georgie Harris, who happened to be brunette.
The two seemed to hit it off and briefly became a fan-favorite match, though they eventually split after a trip to London. Georgie later revealed she had moved on with Luke, while Connor said the breakup came down to realizing they were simply “two different people.”
Reflecting on that relationship in an interview with PEOPLE in April, Connor shared more about their date in London and why it stood out to him.
“Firstly, this was the longest we spent with each other on a date.”
“And well, I was just blown away by the fact I was in London,” he added. “I mean, the last time I was there was just for one day and I barely got to see all the great landmarks, like Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and, of course, Buckingham Palace.”
“But I noticed Georgie didn’t seem as hyped by this as I was,” Connor revealed, noting. “And well, that made me concerned. Anyone else would’ve thought themselves blessed to be here.”
Since then, both Connor and Georgie appear to have moved on, with Georgie also sharing her new relationship on social media.
