Major Global Internet Outage Hits Prominent Websites for Second Time This Month

Several sections of the internet are experiencing disruptions again due to another outage from Cloudflare.

Users attempting to access the content network service, as well as platforms like Zoom, Canva, and LinkedIn, are encountering a 500 Internal Server Error message.

Interestingly, DownDetector, a site that provides status updates, is also affected.

This incident occurs nearly three weeks after Cloudflare caused numerous websites to go offline, impacting millions of internet users.

At 9:33 UCT, Cloudflare’s System Status confirmed it was investigating ‘an increased level of errors for customers running Workers scripts.’

“We are working to analyze and mitigate this problem. More updates to follow shortly,” they stated.

Five minutes after that, Cloudflare reported it was examining issues concerning ‘a large number of empty pages when using the list API on a Workers KV namespace.’

Further updates will be provided as they become available.
