Man attempts to walk on his Tesla Cybertruck and it goes horribly wrong

A video has gained significant attention online, showing a man attempting to walk on his Tesla Cybertruck, only for things to go awry as he showcased his vehicle.

Elon Musk first introduced the Cybertruck in 2019, capturing attention with its futuristic design.

While the vehicle still holds its unique look, seeing Teslas on the road has become more common, reducing the initial awe.

The Cybertruck is marketed as a bullet-proof vehicle, but a viral video suggests otherwise.

This footage, which was initially uploaded to TikTok and YouTube by Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, depicts a man walking on the roof of a Cybertruck adorned in grey digital camouflage.

The background of the video features several other Teslas, indicating the man was likely at a gathering of Tesla enthusiasts.

Meeting fellow Tesla fans, the man claims it is almost obligatory to walk on the roof, as Cybertrucks are advertised as ‘built to last’.

As the 240-pound Tesla owner ventures towards the windshield, a noticeable and loud crunch resonates on the camera.

Undeterred, the Tesla enthusiast ignores the apparent damage, landing from the vehicle and continuing to film its exterior.

He even points out the Tesla and the US flag at the back of the car, while avoiding the evident issue.

Although the owner doesn’t address it in the video, the YouTube clip title, ‘Cybertruck windshield breaks’, confirms the suspicion.

This isn’t the first public mishap for the Cybertruck, with a notable incident involving Musk himself.

In 2019, the Twitter owner highlighted the car’s ‘shatterproof’ windows, only to see one shatter during a live demonstration.

Musk’s confidence in the vehicle’s toughness led him to ask Tesla design chief Franz von Holshausen to attempt to break the glass during a launch event.

“You want a truck that’s really tough, not fake tough,” he asserted at the time.

“You want a truck you can take a sledgehammer to, a truck that won’t scratch, doesn’t dent.”

However, when von Holshausen threw a steel ball at the truck, two windows ended up shattering.

Quite the embarrassing moment.
