Many of us have pondered the mystery of what lies beyond death, if anything exists at all.
One individual has recounted his own near-death experience, which transpired during a three-day coma, during which he claims to have encountered Jesus.
Such experiences can profoundly impact individuals, altering their perspective upon returning to normal life.
There are various ideas about why individuals near death might experience certain visions or encounters.
Some suggest that these are the brain’s final efforts to provide comfort by revisiting joyful memories or presenting visions of an anticipated afterlife.
Others perceive a clear spiritual or divine influence in these experiences.
Robert Marshall is a firm believer in the latter view, recalling his experience of being ‘dead’ for three days back in 2024.
During an appearance on the Next Level Soul Podcast, Robert shared that his experience was beyond a typical ‘near-death experience’ as he stated, “I was dead for three days.”
Earlier in May, he had visited an outpatient emergency room due to a ‘very large mass on his neck that was swollen’.
“They did MRI, blood tests. I was having trouble breathing, that’s why I went there,” he recounted.
In his book, 44 Hours in Heaven, Robert detailed how he went into ‘code blue’ multiple times.
The book describes this as resulting from ‘drowning on his blood in his lungs, acute hypoxic respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest’.
Robert claimed that during this period, he visited heaven and met Jesus.
He described heaven as being filled with large oak trees, flowers, and ‘the most vibrant colors’, along with a profound sense of ‘peace and love’.
Upon meeting Jesus, Robert recalls requesting to be ‘sent back’ to console his wife, as he ‘felt every bit of her pain’.
Jesus then gave him a message before he was revived by doctors.
Robert recounted Jesus saying: “When you first came before me, you asked if you could go back.”
He humorously noted: “I went ‘oh he did hear!'”, to which host Alex Ferrari replied: “I don’t think Jesus is hard of hearing.”
Robert continued: “He said ‘your brain has been destroyed’, obviously.”
Jesus told him: “I could and would send you back with some caveats. I’ll send you back with a miracle that nobody could ever deny, not the doctors, not the nurses, not scientists, nobody could ever deny that I am God and I did this, and there’s no question that I’m alive, I’m real, heaven is real.”
Robert asserted that Jesus promised him a ‘new brain’ and to ‘restore your entire memory’.
