Man Who ‘Exclusively Drinks’ Fermented Milk Reveals Why He Follows a Strict ‘Primal’ Diet

A Kent man who documents his all-animal diet on TikTok has defended his refusal to eat vegetables, claiming humans never evolved to digest them.

Hassan, 36, who posts as ‘Has Carnivore,’ said he spends roughly £400 ($540) monthly to sustain a regimen built entirely on raw meat, fermented dairy and animal fats. The content creator adopted the so-called ‘primal’ lifestyle in 2025 and says he has not touched a vegetable since.

“In a typical day, I would eat anywhere between half a kilo and a kilo of raw red meat – including beef or venison,” he said. “If I’m at a restaurant, I’ll have a steak, but I’ll have it blue-rare.”

His daily intake also includes approximately one litre of raw milk sourced directly from farms, which he drinks exclusively rather than consuming any other beverages. Hassan noted that he recently scaled back his egg consumption after previously eating them in large quantities.

“I’m not really keen on vegetables, I believe they’re not really that great for us,” he explained. His skepticism centers on natural defence chemicals present in plants, compounds that help protect them from pests but which Hassan argues pose risks to human consumers.

“I argue that humans haven’t evolved to eat vegetables, especially the ones that we have now,” Hassan added.

Most nutrition specialists regard these plant defence compounds as harmless at typical dietary levels, noting that cooking and normal digestive processes further reduce any potential impact.

Andrew Griffiths, a fitness expert and nutritionist at Net World Sports, warned that the diet’s restrictions create significant health vulnerabilities. “All that you are achieving is a very expensive, nutrient-narrow diet,” he stated. “The absence of plant foods is where issues start to arise. And the raw meat aspect of the diet is a different subject altogether because the pathogen load that cooking neutralises is substantial.”

Griffiths identified several serious infection risks tied to consuming uncooked meat, including E. Coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter, Listeria, and parasitic infections such as Toxoplasma gondii, Taenia tapeworms and Trichinella spiralis. “Toxoplasmosis is particularly noteworthy because it’s the second-leading cause of foodborne illness deaths in the US according to CDC estimates,” he added.

The nutritionist did acknowledge limited but accumulating research around potential benefits. “While the data supporting benefits of the diet is not exactly extensive, it is growing,” he said. “The strongest argument for a carnivore diet is that it is the most aggressive elimination diet going.” He explained that stripping out all grain and plant-based foods can provide a clean baseline for individuals with food sensitivities, autoimmune conditions or chronic gut problems.

Griffiths emphasized that such an approach should function only as a temporary diagnostic tool rather than a permanent lifestyle, recommending that followers reintroduce food groups systematically to identify specific triggers.

Hassan’s journey into extreme eating began last year when he committed to eliminating all plant matter from his meals, a decision he has chronicled for his TikTok audience under the ‘Has Carnivore’ handle. His current regimen includes consuming beef fat directly from jars, a practice he has developed over his months on the diet.
