A man claims he successfully infiltrated one of Diddy’s legendary parties in the 1990s and shared his observations from the event.
Before allegations about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ past parties led to his arrest in September 2024, receiving an invitation to one of the rapper’s gatherings was highly coveted.
Combs hosted annual ‘White Parties’ for over a decade starting from 1998. Among the notable attendees were stars like Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, and Beyoncé. In July 1999, Chris Harris managed to attend one of these parties.
At the time, Harris was a reporter for the East Hampton Star. He reportedly gained entry after overhearing a discussion about ‘Puffy’s barbeque’ while at the beach.
Determined to cover the story, Harris hurried to Combs’ waterfront mansion, initially aiming to identify celebrity guests attending the event.
When approached by a young blonde who claimed to have seen a useful name on the guest list, Harris found his way in.
They confidently presented themselves to security as Ted Ammon and his companion, gaining immediate access to the party.
In a New York Post article, Harris described his entrance into the party, highlighting the ‘deafening’ R&B music.
“[The music was] pumped out by 20 speakers spread across the backyard. In the DJ booth was A Tribe Called Quest‘s Q-Tip,” he recalled.
Harris compared the aroma in the air to ‘Willie Nelson’s tour bus,’ and remarked on the presence of ‘naked and topless women’ in the pool, with models serving champagne. He noted that while the line for food was long, the hot dogs were exceptional.
At the elite gathering, Harris mingled with Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Ivanka Trump, and even had a flirtatious interaction with Carmen Electra.
He claimed only celebrities were allowed inside Combs’ mansion, observing that the rapper wore white attire with gold chains.
Harris thanked Combs for ‘one hell of a party,’ to which Diddy replied, ‘yeah, okay.’
While Harris witnessed much at the party, he stated he did not see any of the items described in allegations against Diddy, such as lubricant, sex toys, or pink cocaine.
Currently, Combs is in custody facing charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has entered a plea of not guilty.
