On Sunday, actor Jeremy Renner, best known for his role in the “Hawkeye” films, had to be airlifted to the hospital after police responded to an incident at his rural mansion.

While details remain unclear, the police have described it as being related to the winter storm that has caused power outages for 35,000 people in the area due to heavy snow and winds.

We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today.

‘His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care,’ a spokesman said in a statement.

Renner took to Twitter to share images of the area, captioning them “Lake Tahoe snowfall is no joke”.

Pictures show the snow reaching the first floor windows, with some cars completely encased in the white stuff.

Fans have responded with prayers for the actor, best known for his roles as Hawkeye in the Marvel universe, Aaron Cross in The Bourne Legacy and William Brandt in Mission Impossible.
