Martha Stewart’s startling revelation about neighbor Ryan Reynolds leaves fans in disbelief

Ryan Reynolds has won the hearts of millions with his comedic charm, yet not everyone is in agreement—Martha Stewart has a different opinion.

Even though Reynolds has thrived in various comedy films, a ‘90s sitcom, and is often spotlighted in numerous ‘Funny Moments’ compilations on YouTube, Stewart isn’t as amused as his global fan base.

During a special guest appearance on the Rent Free game show, the 83-year-old writer and businesswoman shared her thoughts about the Deadpool & Wolverine star. She was asked several questions about her famous friends and acquaintances.

When prompted to suggest who the audience might think would be the most enjoyable company, Stewart mentioned her good friend Snoop Dogg.

She speculated that Reynolds, 48, might also be considered, but then surprised everyone by stating he may not be as funny as people think.

“He’s probably on the list just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” she asked.

“And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life,” she continued. “No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.”

Stewart shared that her own choices would have been Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Later in the episode, Stewart elaborated on her blunt view of Reynolds.

“He’s a good actor,” she stated. “He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again.”

“I’m going to get in trouble,” she admitted. “He’s my neighbor.”

Hopefully, their next encounter will be free of tension.

Stewart’s candid remarks on Reynolds sparked a mixed reaction on social media.

One user on X commented: “Martha’s out here spilling tea for no reason and I love the chaotic energy.”

Another fan argued: “If someone can act funny they are funny.”

Someone else humorously remarked: “I mean I’m all for a good drag but because somebody is your neighbor doesn’t mean they have to entertain you and make you cry with laughter when putting the bins out.”

Another joked: “Hmm how do you go on the internet and talk abt ur neighbors like aren’t you gonna go home and see them in the neighborhood the next day?”

Reynolds himself responded to Stewart’s comments on Twitter.

He tweeted: “I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so.”
