Marvel Star Jeremy Renner Is ‘Conscious and Speaking’, Will Have Surgery After Running Over His Leg

Jeremy Renner is reportedly conscious and stable following the Sunday morning accident where a snowcat ran him over.

The 51-year-old Marvel star is able to speak and is set to undergo surgery as part of his recovery. Renner’s injuries are said to be extensive.

His neighbor, who also happened to be a doctor, had applied a tourniquet to the actor’s injured leg in an attempt to stem the bleeding.

The 51-year-old is currently in a critical but stable condition in the hospital with injuries to other parts of his body.

The source of the accident remains unclear, with questions raised as to how long Renner has owned the PistenBully groomer or whether it was second-hand.

The PistenBully Renner owns is no longer available for sale, though similar models are described on second-hand sale sites as ‘vintage.’

‘We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today. ‘His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.’
