Mayor of NYC Zohran Mamdani discloses surprising item in Trump’s Oval Office that had him ‘flipping’ out

Zohran Mamdani was intrigued by a particular item during his visit to the Oval Office.

After a campaign that involved questioning voters about their support for Trump, the newly elected mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, met with President Trump at the Oval Office.

Despite their previously well-documented differences, with Trump calling Mamdani a ‘communist’ and Mamdani challenging the president during his victory speech, their meeting after Mamdani’s win was unexpected.

During the meeting, Trump seemed unexpectedly open and amiable towards Mamdani, even though he had previously threatened to cut federal funding to New York if Mamdani won the election.

Mamdani, on his part, was courteous towards the president, with Trump even expressing no resentment over Mamdani calling him a ‘fascist’ when asked by the press.

Mamdani later revealed that one unusual item in the Oval Office caught his eye during his visit.

Amidst the historical artifacts of the White House, it was not an antique item that grabbed the new mayor’s attention but rather a dossier with an intriguing title found in the office.

Unlike titles such as ‘aliens are real’ or ‘how we faked the moon landings’, this dossier was still enough to pique interest.

While appearing on The Adam Friedland Show on Wednesday, Mamdani was questioned about anything out of the ordinary in the Oval Office. He mentioned a dossier labeled ‘UFC at the White House’.

For those not in the know, UFC represents mixed martial arts, and Mamdani discovered plans suggesting the president intended to host a UFC fight on White House grounds.

This was not an unusual attempt by Trump to solve the government shutdown; instead, he had discussed plans to organize UFC fights on the White House South Lawn for the USA’s 250th anniversary.

“I was just flipping through that,” Mamdani commented, mentioning that it included mock-ups of the octagon-shaped arena designed for the events.

When Friedland inquired if Mamdani would attend the fight, Mamdani chuckled and declined, saying, “No!”

UFC President and CEO Dana White mentioned that around 5,000 attendees could watch the fight live, while larger screens would broadcast to a wider audience in a park accommodating approximately 85,000 people.
