Meghan Markle has shared a rare clip featuring her daughter Princess Lilibet’s voice in a new Instagram post.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, took to Instagram on Tuesday to mark the launch of her As Ever holiday collection, mixing never-before-seen childhood photos with behind-the-scenes footage from her brand’s development. Among the new material was a home video showing her baking alongside Lilibet, who turned five this year.
“What do you think, Lili?” Markle asked her daughter in the clip, as she stirred a pot over the stove while the young princess mixed spread in a bowl nearby.
“I think it’s beautiful,” Lilibet sweetly responded.

In her caption, Markle traced her entrepreneurial drive back to childhood ventures she started at age eight, slightly older than Lilibet is now. “making homemade scrunchies,” she wrote, describing how “I sewed on my grandmother’s Singer sewing machine and sold for $1 a piece.”

“I sold Girl Scout cookies, had lemonade stands, worked in a frozen yogurt shop and had countless other jobs. My entrepreneurial spirit was always there,” she continued.

The post also included a throwback photograph showing Markle as a Girl Scout with her mother, Doria Ragland, who led her troop. Other footage captured Markle unboxing As Ever products with Prince Harry, 41, visible standing behind her, and showed her at work making several items for the line.

“As I pinch myself looking at how this brand has grown, and as we introduce our holiday collection, I feel very proud, and grateful,” Markle wrote in the caption. She gave a warm shoutout to her “amazing team,” applauding them for “helping bring this vision to life.”

The former royal launched As Ever in April 2025, and the holiday collection represents its latest expansion. The brand has become a central focus of her public profile since she stepped back from senior royal duties alongside her husband.
Markle and Harry share two children: Lilibet and Prince Archie, 7. The couple married in 2018 and have largely shielded both children from public exposure, rarely sharing their faces online and seldom bringing them to public events.

The family’s living situation has shifted in recent months. Sources said that Markle and Harry, whose memoir “Spare” detailed his royal rupture, relocated back to England in August to spend more time with King Charles III as he undergoes cancer treatment. The move marked a significant change for the Sussexes, who had built their post-royal life in California after their 2020 departure from working royal roles.

The baking clip offered an unusually intimate glimpse into the family’s private life, given the couple’s consistent efforts to protect their children’s privacy from media scrutiny.

Markle’s entrepreneurial narrative in the post connected her current business ambitions directly to her early work experiences, framing As Ever as the culmination of decades of hustle rather than a celebrity vanity project. The inclusion of her daughter in that storyline suggested she may already be passing those values to the next generation.
The As Ever holiday collection is now available through the brand’s official channels.
