Men and women unanimously consider one sex position as ‘among the worst’

Opinions on sexual positions can vary widely, but there’s a surprising consensus on which one ranks as the least favorite.

Whether due to the amount of energy required or simply because it doesn’t feel good, some positions are just not worth the effort for some people.

Ultimately, it’s a matter of personal preference, and people are quite certain about what works for them.

A recent study by NapLab reveals diverse preferences among Americans: 29.4 per cent favor doggy style, 21.68 per cent opt for missionary, and 19.33 per cent enjoy cowgirl.

However, a notable consensus exists online regarding a certain controversial position.

The 69.

Couple in 69 position

This position, named for the visual representation of two people simultaneously giving and receiving pleasure, has seen its share of criticism.

On Reddit, a man expressed his frustration, saying: “Not a fan. I love giving. I love receiving. 69 makes it hard for me to enjoy either part. I don’t like someone’s crotch in my face when I’m receiving… and the BJ is really overwhelming for me when I’m trying to give pleasure.”

Another individual commented: “It’s like two people giving each other a massage. Feels like for the relaxation to be fully enjoyed, one person should go at a time.”

This sentiment is, in fact, rather common.

A survey involving 2,000 women indicated that 29 per cent identified 69 as the least enjoyable position.

Seduce AI explained this is due to the divided attention required, making it hard for participants to focus on their own pleasure.

Couple appearing frustrated

NapLab’s data shows just 3.89 per cent of participants, out of 1490 respondents, gave 69 positive feedback.

This isn’t the only position drawing criticism.

YourTango’s exploration of male opinions highlights dissatisfaction with reverse cowgirl as well.

One respondent stated: “Not a fan of reverse cowgirl. Feels weird that she’s facing away from me and I’m just kind of laying there. Despite being inside of her, the level of disconnection makes me feel like we should both be browsing Instagram on our phones.”

Perhaps it’s time to innovate and explore new possibilities.
