27-year-old Chelsea Shiels has been making seashell crowns for almost a year now.
She sells them on her Etsy shop as a hobby.
The Melbourne-based artist originally started selling flower crowns on her shop, while making seashell crowns as a private creative hobby.
When the mermaid trend started to kick in, she gained the confidence to start selling them online.
“I’ve always wanted to be Ariel, under the sea. I’m a real beach bum. That was where my obsession with the sea and shells came from”, Chelsea said.
Each crown is handmade and one-of-a-kind.
