Mike Tyson confronts Logan Paul for a bout in awkward interaction following loss to his brother

Jake Paul emerged victorious in his bout against Mike Tyson, an event that some fans have labeled as ‘the most boring boxing fight in the history of boxing’.

Although the match lasted the full duration, there wasn’t much action to be observed, primarily consisting of a 27-year-old repeatedly landing punches on a 58-year-old opponent.

‘The Problem Child’ secured his win through a unanimous decision, and from an outside perspective, it appeared that Tyson might not be eager to return to the ring any time soon.

In the post-fight interview, Tyson was asked by a reporter: “Are you surprised it went the distance?”

He responded: “No I knew he was a good fighter, I knew he was prepared but I came to fight.”

When questioned about his age, the reporter remarked: “You know, 58, a lot of people thought you shouldn’t be here a lot of people thought you’d be done and dusted in the first round, do you feel like you proved the world wrong that you could at least go eight rounds with a younger man?”

Tyson replied: “I didn’t prove nothing to anybody only to myself I’m not one of those guys that looks to please the world, I’m just happy what I can do.”

The former two-time heavyweight champion of the world was then asked if this fight might be his last, but Tyson showed no indication of retiring.

Instead of accepting defeat and stepping away, he boldly challenged Jake’s older brother, Logan Paul, in a slightly awkward moment following his loss.

When asked, “You got more in you, who crosses the mind?”

Tyson answered: “Oh, I don’t know. Maybe his brother.”

This was followed by him dramatically pointing at Logan.

After being called out, the co-founder of energy drink Prime responded: “Well f***, I’ll kill you Mike.”

Tyson and Paul initially planned to face off in the summer, but just two months prior to their fight, the former two-time heavyweight champion had to withdraw due to an ‘ulcer flare up’.

Fans paid as much as $2 million for the event, with VIP tickets being sold at that hefty price, and all tickets were completely sold out.

The event drew an audience of 65,000 people with millions more watching worldwide through streaming on Netflix.

While the exact financial stakes have not been disclosed, it is believed that the winner will earn tens of millions of dollars. Speaking at a press conference in August, Paul stated: “I’m here to make $40 million and knock out a legend.”

Tyson is rumored to have a purse of $20 million.
