Anyone Who’s Flown Will Relate To These Hilarious Drawings Of A 17-Hour Flight

Christoph Niemann, a cartoonist for the New York Times, kept himself entertained on his flight from New York to Berlin by drawing a totally accurate account of everyone’s experience of flying, ever.

6:52pm — take off!

It’s all in the detail.

 Who’s hungry?

Why be comfortable when you can travel by plane?

Nothing beats seven minutes of back monitor.

Neck pain or facial frostbite from the window? It’s a tough one.

Because apparently the higher up you are, the drier your mouth will be.

Making a racket AND more comfortable. Why do bad things happen to good people?

Christoph must be the first person ever to not at least skim the “plane magazine”.

Curse those shrinking shoes.

 15 hours later, hello London!

Time to sample the local cuisine. Sort of.

 Take off (again).

 And the countdown begins…

We feel your pain, Christoph.
