Millie Bobby Brown Speaks Out About Relationship with David Harbour Amid ‘Bullying’ Rumors

Millie Bobby Brown recently discussed her dynamic with David Harbour following claims that she lodged bullying accusations against him.

Earlier this month, The Daily Mail reported that prior to the commencement of filming for the final season of the popular Netflix show Stranger Things, Brown had submitted ‘pages and pages of accusations’ against her co-star Harbour.

The report suggested that the 21-year-old actress had documented several allegations against Harbour, which allegedly led to her maintaining a personal representative on set during the investigation.

However, Brown, who is known for her role as Eleven in the series, addressed the nature of her relationship with Harbour in a recent conversation with Entertainment Tonight.

When asked about the significance of their relationship, she responded: “So much, so much. I mean, we play father and daughter. And similar to Noah [Schnapp] and Winona [Ryder], you have an amazing friendship.”

She conveyed to the outlet: “I’ve obviously had a really special bond with David because we have a father and daughter relationship, and we do every scene together. You really get to see that in season five.

“It’s been so special to have him along the journey for me. Winona, the kids. I’m really honoured to have played Eleven and have met such amazing people along the way.”

On the other hand, the show’s co-creator Ross Duffer commented to The Hollywood Reporter, downplaying the ‘noise’ surrounding the show.

He remarked: “Obviously, you understand I can’t get into personal onset matters, but I will say we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them.

“So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”

Shawn Levy, who serves as the show’s director and executive producer, also addressed how the production team handles bullying complaints, indirectly referencing the rumors. He stated that they prioritize creating an environment where ‘everyone feels safe and respected’.

He further commented: “You have to create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe, and so we did everything to build that environment. And we’re proud of the fact that we did so.”

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is set to follow a trend seen on Netflix, with its release being divided into three segments.

The initial four episodes will be available starting 26 November, followed by three additional episodes on Christmas Day, concluding with the finale, titled The Rightside Up, on New Year’s Day.
