Nostradamus has made a chilling prediction for the coming year.
Known as the ‘Living Nostradamus’ for accurately predicting significant events such as the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the Covid pandemic, Brazilian prophet Athos Salomé has unveiled more ominous forecasts for the future. These predictions come after a decade already marked by upheaval and challenges.
In a recent interview with Tyla, Salomé highlighted two major regions that could become new arenas for proxy conflicts between the West and its adversaries, adding to the ongoing strife in Ukraine, Sudan, and the Congo.
The risk of a global conflict escalating into World War Three looms large, as this modern-day Nostradamus foresees full-scale wars erupting in 2026 in two sparsely populated areas: the Sahel and the Arctic.

The Sahel is a geographical belt in Africa, acting as a transition zone between the savannas to the south and the Sahara desert to the north. Recently, it has seen a surge in terrorist activities, gaining a reputation as a terrorism hotspot with a significant percentage of global terror incidents occurring there.
This region includes countries like Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, Sudan, Eritrea, and The Gambia, all of which face ongoing threats from groups linked to Al Qaeda and ISIS.
With Western forces, such as French and American troops, pulling out, the security situation in the Sahel is expected to worsen.
In recent months, the region has witnessed numerous schoolchildren being kidnapped by armed groups, who demand ransoms for their release. This situation persists as local governments struggle to maintain order.
Salomé stated: “With the rise of extremist groups in northern regions of Niger, I believe that the area could become a scene of indirect confrontation between nations seeking to preserve their influence after the departure of Western troops.”

Salomé’s predictions also extend to potential conflicts involving global powers like Russia, China, and the US, centered on strategic resources and market access.
This anticipated conflict might spark in the Arctic, where military capabilities have been bolstered by both Russia and NATO-aligned nations since the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
This military build-up accelerated as Finland and Sweden joined the alliance, responding to Russia’s aggressive stance and its expanded presence in the Arctic region.
New shipping routes and military activities have emerged as global warming opens up the region, potentially leading to confrontations in early 2026.
Salomé predicted: “The most recent interceptions indicate that Russia is moving missile systems to strategic areas in the Arctic.” He added, “This increases the likelihood of direct confrontations with NATO during the ice melt in 2026 – a time when new shipping routes and energy reserves could play a crucial role.”

As terrestrial conflicts loom, cosmic events may also impact the Earth. The ‘Living Nostradamus’ foresees potential disruptions from a massive solar storm.
Salomé explained: “Recent information indicates that coronal mass ejections directed at Earth will occur between 12 and 15 March 2026. The possibility of large-scale power outages is real, especially in more susceptible electrical systems, but nothing concrete.”
Additionally, there is a looming threat of a new disease, a variant of bird flu, H5N5, which has recently claimed its first human life. This raises concerns about its potential spread to humans as it continues to impact animal populations globally.
Salomé does not predict an imminent pandemic but cautions that “global monitoring needs to be strengthened, especially considering that the EU is rushing to authorise a modified mRNA vaccine,” to avert a potential crisis.
