Three people have died after a Monster truck ploughed into spectators in southern Colombia.
The crash occurred during a stunt show on Sunday in the city of Popayán, and it is believed dozens of people were hurt.
Footage from the scene appears to show one of the Monster trucks losing control and leaving the track, as audience members run away and can be heard screaming.
The vehicle had just come down from a jump when it veered off course. It eventually stopped after striking an electricity pole.
Authorities said the truck’s brakes failed during the performance, BBC News reports, with at least 38 people injured.
Popayán’s mayor, Juan Carlos Muñoz Bravo, said he was “deeply saddened” in a statement.

“From the outset as mayor, I’ve made all available resources available to support the victims and their families,” he said.
“We’re working closely with hospitals, emergency services and the authorities to ensure people receive prompt, compassionate and dignified care at this difficult time.”
“I’ve given clear instructions for a thorough investigation.. This should never have happened, and the facts will be established with full responsibility and transparency,” he concluded.
Regional governor Octavio Guzmán also offered condolences, saying: “We express our solidarity with the families of those affected by this tragic accident, as well as with our capital city, Popayán.”
BBC News, citing Colombian newspaper El Espectador, reported that a 10-year-old girl died at the scene.
The Popayán incident follows a series of serious accidents linked to Monster truck shows over the last 20 years.

In 2013, a truck called ‘The Big Show’ crashed into onlookers in Chihuahua, Mexico, killing nine people and injuring 80 others.
Reports at the time said the truck swerved into the crowd, with four children among those who died.
The driver involved in the 2013 crash later tested positive for alcohol.
Another similar tragedy occurred a year later in the Netherlands, where a Monster truck reportedly lost control and struck spectators.
That incident was said to have left five people dead and dozens more injured.
Videos shared online at the time appeared to show the truck driving over six cars before continuing into a packed viewing area.
